Melchers Construction Limited was established in January 1987 by Ted Melchers. After spending many summers and school breaks learning the business from the ground up, Chris Melchers joined the company on a full time basis in 2004 after completing Construction Engineering Technology (Management) at Fanshawe College. 

Our focus is on residential renovations, custom homes and commercial construction including dental/medical offices, retail, warehouse and new building construction. We recognize that each project is unique and we work very closely with each client, to ensure that the outcome is a reflection of their individual desires, priorities and style.

Over the years we have won a number of awards for our projects.  At the 2011 ACE Awards on September 28, 2011 we were finalists in a number of categories and won Best Renovation Under $50,000.  In addition, we were honoured to be named 2011 Renovator of the Year

This year Ted received the prestigious Mowbray Sifton Award. This award is given annually to a member in recognition of their outstanding contribution to the LHBA in the three preceeding years.
